Dress Code

Artistic Endeavors provides high quality training and therefore requires a mandatory dress code in order to participate in class. Proper dance attire allows freedom of movement, a clean sight line for instruction and a classical feel. Skirts are allowed but are not a requirement and should not hinder the student’s education.

Girls

• Solid color leotards, pink leather ballet slippers and pink or white tights for all ballet classes (please no bedroom, gymnastic or satin slippers).
• Black tap shoes are required for tap classes.
• Hair should be pulled back in either a ballet bun or pony tail.
• No jewelry, with the exception of small earrings.

Boys

• Clean white t-shirt, black pants or shorts with black leather ballet slippers.
• Black tap shoes are required for tap classes.
