Beginning “Feets!”: Ages 6 months & Up (Parent/Child)

Laughing, Loving, Learning the arts together! This social, stimulating, bonding, shared experience allows you to interact with your child in a focused way, building important developmental skills such as gross and fine motor coordination, vocabulary building, shape and color recognition, counting skills and a love for creativity. You will be treated to a curriculum with a wide variety of games, music and movement activities. Classes are 30 minutes in length. No dress code is required for this class.

Ballet 1: Ages 3-5

An introduction to dance in a fun, loving, structured setting. Students will learn a combination of Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet basics through a specially designed curriculum that is taught to a variety of music. Classes are 45 minutes in length and offer a parent observation class at the end of each session. Dress code is required. Exception to the age requirement is by permission of the teacher only.

Ballet 2/Tap     Ballet 2/Jazz: Ages 5-7

The Ballet 2 program incorporates either tap or jazz  into the curriculum. This 1 hour class, with a program split of 40 minutes ballet and 20 minutes tap or jazz, delves deeper into the world of classical training. With a non-stop structure, children move from barre, floor, center, loco motor and creative, to tap or jazz. This class offers a parent observation the last class of the fall  session.  The winter/spring session offers a “showcase” where choreography is learned and presented in the classrooms with minimal costuming.  Exception to the age requirement is by permission of the teacher only. No previous training is required.  Dress code is required.

Ballet 3/Tap    Ballet 3/Jazz: Ages 8-10

A continuation of the Ballet 2 program. This class offers a parent observation the last class of the fall  session.  The winter/spring session offers a “showcase” where choreography is learned and presented in the classrooms with minimal costuming.   At least one year of previous training is recommended for this class.  Ballet 2 is recommended for dancers with no previous training.   Dress code is required.

Ballet 4: Ages 9-12  2 years of previous training required  

A one hour class that focuses on ballet technique.  Class begins with a ballet barre, and moves through the hour with Barre and Floor stretches, Adagio, Petit Allegro and Grand Allegro.  Small combinations are taught to improve artistry, line and quality of movement.  This class offers a parent observation the last class of the fall  session.  The winter/spring session offers a “showcase” where choreography is learned and presented in the classrooms with minimal costuming.  2 years of previous training is recommended. Dress code is required.

 Ballet 5: Ages 12-14 3 years of previous training required

A one hour class that focuses on ballet technique.  Class begins with a ballet barre, and moves through the hour with Barre and Floor stretches, Adagio, Petit Allegro and Grand Allegro.  Small combinations are taught to improve artistry, line and quality of movement.  This class offers a parent observation the last class of the fall  session.  The winter/spring session offers a “showcase” where choreography is learned and presented in the classrooms with minimal costuming.  By placement from Instructor only 4 years of previous training is required. Dress code is required.

45 minute class that teaches the basics of classic jazz, theater dance and video hip hop. A Ballet class is recommended to take along with this class but not required. This class offers a parent observation the last class of the fall  session.  The winter/spring session offers a “showcase” where choreography is learned and presented in the classrooms with minimal costuming.   Dress code is required.

 Jazz 4: Ages 9-12

A one hour class that focuses on Jazz technique  including a technical classic jazz warm up, across the floor and video hip hop style combinations. Previous dance training is required for this level class. A Ballet class is recommended to take along with this class but not required. Adult Tap

Learn the basics of Tap Dance.  This is a fun introduction to Tap Dance with exercises for rhythm, balance and memory enhancement.  Basic Tap steps with Tap vocabulary are taught and combined together to build combinations and short dance routines.  Classes are 1 hour in length. $5.00 per class  Due to Covid restrictions all participants must register for the session.  Drop In is not available at this time.  No dress code required.  

Adult Ballet

Tone your body, improve balance and strength, enhance your memory and clear your mind!  This class includes a classical Ballet barre warm up and then moves to the center for an ending adage. Classes are 1 hour in length. $5.00 per class  Dress code is not mandatory but recommended. Due to Covid restrictions all participants must register for the session.  Drop In is not available at this time.

Acro Dance

Acro dance is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is very athletic and has unique choreography to incorporate gymnastic-like elements into dance.

Tumbling

Tumbling 1 3-5 yr olds

Balance, Strength, Coordination, Flexibility, Jumps, Forward and Backward Rolls, Hand stands, Cartwheels, Bridges, Forward and Backward Walk overs…..

Tumbling 2 6-9 yr olds

Balance, Strength, Coordination, Flexibility, Jumps, Forward and Backward Rolls, 2 and 1 handed Cartwheels, Backbends, Front and Back Walk overs, Back Handsprings, Ariel prep, leaps (skills will progress with time)

Tumbling 3 10-13
